The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team battled to a 3-3 tie with Hingham. Hingham came out firing in the first half and quickly jumped to a 2-0 lead. Whitman hanson continued to fight but could not break through and Hingham took a 2-0 lead into halftime. The second half saw Whitman Hanson come out with renewed energy and Eve Montgomery cut the lead in half with a feed from Taylor Kofton. A few minutes later Olivia Reed tied the score at 2 when she sent a cross that deflected off a defender. Hingham answered back to make it 3-2 before Montgomery scored her second goal off a through ball from Kofton. Both teams had chances until the final minutes but were unable to score. Whitman Hanson improves to 2-0-1 and Hingham moves to 1-0-1
