RE: Whitman Hanson Girls soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 12-1-1 with a 2-0 shutout of Patriot league foe Plymouth North. Taylor Robertson opened the scoring 3 minutes in to the game to put the Panthers up 1-0. Despite fighting the wind Whitman Hanson was able to keep Plymouth north off the board. In the second half the Panthers continued to press but Plymouth keeper Abby Egan was up to the task until Lauren Bonavita fired a laser in the bottom corner to put WH up 2-0. Sammi Smith, Elana Wood, Carly Alexopoulus and Olivia Johnson played strong games in defense of goalkeeper Skylur Kuzmich who made 5 saves in the goal.
