Whitman Hanson girls' soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 2-0 in the Patriot league with a 4-2 road win against Scituate. Whitman Hanson built a 4-0 lead by the beginning of the second half behind 3 goals by Olivia Borgen and one by Kelsey Wozniak and then had to withstand an energized Scituate comeback. The defensive effort of Ava Melia, Alexis Billings, Sam Perkins, Erin Wood and Abby Carew helped goalkeepers Kylee Colclough and Reese Codero share the win. Both keepers made critical saves down the stretch. Nora Manning turned in an outstanding performance.
