Whitman Hanson girls' soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 8-0 in the league(8-1 overall) with a rain soaked  1-0 win over Patriot league opponent Pembroke. Despite Whitman Hanson’s pressure they were unable to break through until 17 minutes left in the game when Olivia Borgen pounced on a loose ball and fired the ball past the Pembroke keeper. The defense of Sam Perkins, Ava Melia, Erin Wood and Courtney Woodward helped keepers Reese Codero and Kylee Colclough earn the shut out.
