Whitman Hanson Girls' Soccer

The Whitman Hanson Girls’ soccer team improved to 3-0-1 with a 5-2 victory, on senior day, over Silver Lake. The Panthers opened the scoring 32 seconds into the match when Liv Montes fired home an Anna Sullivan cross for her first varsity goal. Silver Lake responded with a goal of their own before Olivia Borgen finished off a Kayla Cassidy cross. Silver Lake responded again knotting the score at 2-2. The second half saw Whitman Hanson pressure the Silver Lake net and finally breakthrough as Borgen, Kelsee Wozniak and Kayla Cassidy all found the back of the net. Ava Melia, Meghan Bizier, Madeline Nagle and Lauryn Fostello all turned in strong performances.
