Whitman Hanson Girls' Soccer

The Whitman Hanson Girls’ soccer team improved to 6-0-1 with a 4-1 win over Marshfield. Marshfield opened the scoring in the second quarter before Alexis Billings equalized when she put home her own rebound. Just 2 minutes into the third quarter Whitman Hanson’s Makena Marshall fired a laser from 20yds out that put the Panthers up 2-1. Kayla Cassidy and Olivia Borgen would round out the scoring for Whitman Hanson. The defensive unit of Makenna Marshall, Ava Melia, Abby Carew, Skylar Jordan and Madeline Nagle were strong all day in front of keepers Kylee Colclough and Reese Codero.
