The Whitman Hanson girls soccer team improved to 3-0 with a hard fought win over league opponent North Quincy. Whitman Hanson carried play for most of the game but struggled getting it through a tough North Quincy defense. North Quincy goalkeeper Rachel O’Driscoll made many spectacular saves to keep the score tied. Two minutes in to the second half, senior Yasemin Civan broke the tie when she collected a pass from Megan Downing and blasted it into the left corner. The Whitman Hanson defense led by Alyssa Eaton, Hayley Bukow, and Nicole Galewski helped goalkeeper Lauren Clark earn her third shutout of the season.
