Whitman Hanson Girls soccer

Despite a 31-5 shot advantage the Whitman Hanson girls soccer team had to come back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to secure a 3-2 victory. Alexis Fruzzetti tallied two first half goals on assists from Casey Corr and Melissa Hurlburt to account for the 2-2 score at half. Courtney Fruzzetti put home a Kelsey Gilbert cross for the game winner early in the second half. Strong midfield performances were turned in by Lily Higgins and Marina Kelly while Maddie Shea, Hayley Bukow and Hayley wells anchored the defense.
