Whitman Hanson improved to 6-0 with a 2-1 victory of non-league opponent Marshfield. Marshfield took the lead 5 minutes before half and carried the lead into intermission. Whitman Hanson came out in the second half and started applying pressure to the Marshfield defense. It paid off when Eve Montgomery took a Katie Korzec pass and fired a shot from 30yds out in to the upper corner of the net. Two minutes later Lauren Bonavita took a Lexi Grazioso pass and fired a rocket into the upper corner to put Whitman Hanson in the lead 2-1. Due to the outstanding defensive play of Samantha Smith, Sam Perkins, Olivia Johnson and Elana wood the Panthers held on for the 2-1 win. Katie Korzec, Riley Bina and Lexi Grazioso had outstanding games for Whitman Hanson. Goalkeeper Skylar Kuzmich made 7 saves in the goal for the win.
