Whitman Hanson girls soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 4-0 with a 5-1 Patriot league victory over Hanover. Hanover took a 1-0 lead into halftime. Whitman Hanson erupted for 5 second half goals. Alexis Billings fired home a rebound to open the scoring and then Kelsey Wozniak took a Riley Bina pass and fired the ball into the net. Wozniak picked up her second goal when she took a Nora Manning cross and fired it into the lower corner. Olivia Borgen and Nora Manning rounded out the scoring for the Panthers. Reese Codero picked up the win in net with the help of strong defensive efforts from Sam Perkins, Samantha Smith, Olivia Johnson, Erin Wood and Courtney Woodward.
