whitman hanson girls soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls soccer improved to 5-0 with a 3-0 shutout of Patriot league rival Silver Lake. Kelsee Wozniak got the Panthers on the board In the first half when she took a Delaney Hall pass and slotted the ball in to the side of the net. Despite offensive pressure the Panthers could not get the second goal until a minute in to the second half when Sam Perkins hit a 40yd free kick in to the upper corner of the net. Panther scoring was completed when Anika Floeck took a Wozniak cross and fired it into the net. The Panther defense of Sam Smith, Sam Perkins, Olivia Johnson and Erin Wood kept the Silver Lake offense in check all night. Skylar Kuzmich picked up her 3rd shutout of the season. Alexis Billings, Riley Bina and Olivia Borgen all had strong games.
