Whitman Hanson Girls' soccer

 

The Whitman Hanson Girls’ soccer Team opened the season with a 4-0 victory over visiting Notre Dame of Hingham. After a scoreless first 20 minutes WH opened the scoring when  Kelsee Wozniak took an Olivia Borgen feed dribbled the keeper and fired it into the open net. 5 minutes later Kayla Cassidy fired a shot from 18yds out to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead. In the third period Wozniak added another while Lauryn Fostello finished off the scoring. The defense of Ava Melia, Emily Leitch, Makenna Marshall and Abby Carew was solid in front of keepers Kylee Colclough and Reese Codero who split the goalkeeping duties.
