Whitman Hanson Girls Soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 7-0-2 with a 2-2 tie with Plymouth North. Plymouth North struck first before Alexis Billings got on the end of a Nora Manning cross to tie the score. Whitman Hanson would take the lead in the second half when Kayla Cassidy took a Liv Borgen pass and fired a rocket from 18yds out. Plymouth North tied it on a scramble in front of the WH net. Goalkeepers on both sides made some outstanding saves to keep the score knotted at 2. The defensive unit of Ava Melia, Abby Carew, Skylar Jordan and Makenna Marshall were outstanding. Lauryn Fostello was outstanding in the midfield.
