Whitman Hanson Girls Soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 8-0-2 with a  2-0 win over Duxbury. Whitman Hanson applied pressure on the Duxbury goal but could not find the back of the net as the Duxbury keeper turned away many shots. In the final period Whitman Hanson got on the board when Kelsee Wozniak made a great individual effort down the flank and fed a cross into the middle that saw Anna Sullivan slot into the net. Just a few minutes later Wozniak made another great run down the flank and found Olivia Borgen who fired the cross home. Alexis Billings and Lauryn Fostello while the back line of Ava Melia, Abby Carew, Skylar Jordan and Makenna Marshall were solid in front of keepers Kylee Colclough and Reese Codero who combined for the shutout.
