The Whitman Hanson girls soccer team fell to Hanover 3-0 in their opening match. Hanover took a 1-0 lead with 4 minutes remaining in the first half and scored 2 late goals to seal the win. It was a great team effort on an emotional night for the Panthers. Makenna Marshall, Brooke McAloney, Savanah Kamperides and Lexi Cole displayed great effort all night while Elizabeth Kowlski was dangerous in the attack. Keeper Ayla Dernier turned many of Hanover's scoring chances away.
