whitman Hanson Girls' Soccer

The Whitman Hanson girls’ soccer team improved to 6-0 with a 4-0 shutout of Plymouth South. Alexis Fruzzetti netted the first goal 15 seconds into the match when she deposited an Eve Montgomery cross in to the net. 15 minutes later Fruzzetti collected her second goal when she collected a Rachel Kelly cross and struck it into the back of the net. Taylor Robertson and Lauran Bonavita each had single tallies in the first half to account for the 4-0 score at the half. The Plymouth South keeper kept Whitman Hanson from scoring anymore in the second half while the Whitman Hanson defense of Maddie Shea, Carly Alexopolus, Aly Wahlberg and Jill Shangold kept Plymouth South from converting on the offensive end. Skylar Kuzmich, Makayla Clemens and Mikayla Bukow all combined for the shutout in the WH goal.
